2.3 Understand the two sets of role names
The product uses two different names for each of its two tenant roles, depending on which screen you are on. They are the same two roles.
| Rol | Shown in the Roles column as | Offered in the Seleccione Roles field as |
|---|---|---|
| Inquilino administrator | Admin | Inquilino Admin |
| Standard user | Member | Usuario |
So a user you created as Usuario appears in the list as Member, and a user you created as Inquilino Admin appears as Admin. Nothing has changed about the account.
What each role grants:
- Inquilino Admin (displays as Admin) grants full administrative access to the tenant, including users, branding, billing, integrations and configuration. A Inquilino Admin can disable and delete other Inquilino Admins.
- Usuario (displays as Member) grants standard access based on the permissions attached to the account, with no administrative rights.
Assign Inquilino Admin only to people who need tenant-wide configuration access, and keep at least two Inquilino Admin accounts so that one locked-out administrator does not lock out the tenant.
