INS 8.3 Create a role

Add new role opens Create New Rol, with Rol Nombre, Descripción and the full Permisos list as individual checkboxes.

1. Seleccione + Add new role.
2. Ingrese el Rol Nombre.
3. Ingrese el Descripción. State who the role is for and what it deliberately excludes.
4. Work through the 76 permission checkboxes and select only those the role requires.
5. Save the role, then confirm its name, description and permission summary in the roles table.

There are exactly 76 permissions, which is also what Speech Admin holds. That is why Speech Admin is described as a universal administrator: it carries every permission the system defines. A role you build yourself starts from none.

Start from nothing and add. Building a role by copying a broad one and removing permissions is how excess access survives. Seleccione each permission because the role needs it.

Withhold the transcript and recording permissions by default. view_call_transcript and the acoustic permissions expose customer conversations in full. Grant them only to people whose job requires the content of a call, not just its measures.
