3.4.2 Stage 2, Agent Settings

This stage sets how the voice agent sounds.

Voice. Select the Voice dropdown and choose one of the available voices. Each is labelled with gender and regional accent:

  1. Samantha (female, US English)
  2. James (male, US English)
  3. Sarah (female, UK English)
  4. Marcus (male, UK English)

Sample Text. A preview script the agent reads when you audition the voice, for example "Your call is important to us. Press or say 'billing' to continue." Edit it to hear a line your own callers will actually receive.

Audio Preview. Select the play icon to hear the selected voice read the sample text. Audition every candidate voice against your own sample text before you commit, since accent and pace affect how your greeting lands.

Navigation:

  • Back returns to Identity and Persona.
  • Next completes this stage and unlocks Knowledge Base.
  • Save Draft saves your progress without completing the setup.
