BRD 2.3 Start a new campaign

The button is labelled New Campaign and the dialogue it opens is titled Create New Campaign. Both refer to the same step.

1. Open Broadcast > Campaigns.
2. Select New Campaign. The Create New Campaign dialogue opens.
3. Select the card for the channel you want: SMS, Email or Voice.
4. Select Continue.

Choosing SMS and selecting Continue opens Create SMS Campaign, a four-stage wizard (see BRD 2.4). Choosing Email opens Create Email Campaign, a five-stage wizard (see BRD 2.8). Voice campaigns are covered in a later release of this guide. Contact support@ncsapp.com before building one.

Choose the channel before you build anything else. The channel decides which template type you need (BRD 4) and which contact fields must be populated on your list (BRD 3). A contact list with no Phone Number values cannot carry an SMS campaign however complete the rest of it is.
